On the other hand, ATAFUTA emphasizes feelings and thoughts, such as stress, panic, and get flustered or running around. バタバタするも、あたふたするも、共にせわしなく落ち着かない様子であるが、 バタバタの方はやることがたくさんあり、動き回っていて忙しい様子。 一方あたふたは、気持ちが急いていたり、困ったり狼狽えたりして、慌てふためく様子のこと。

SAPPARI, ASSARI, SUKKIRI is used to express the texture and taste of food and drinks. SAPPARI expresses a refreshing and light taste. “A SAPPARI sunomono (vinegared dish).” Assari is a taste where only a light amount of oil or seasonings are used. “I’d had many rich and heavy meals recently, so I’d like to eat something ASSARI .” In addition, when it is referring to personalities, ASSARI is when someone is dry and/or direct to the extent that the partner may find him/her to be indifferent. SAPPARI is when someone is not picky about small details. SUKKIRI is when something is pleasant in the mouth, due to texture and taste, or when the aftertaste is not heavy or oily. さっぱり、あっさり、すっきりは、食べ物や飲み物の味や、口当たりに使う。 さっぱりは、「さっぱりした酢の物」のように、味がくどくなくさわやかであること。 あっさりは、「こってりした料理が続いたので、あっさりしたものが食べたい」のように、油や調味料を控えた味をいう。また、性格においては、あっさりは相手が物足りなく感じる程淡白である様子え、さっぱりは物事にしつこくこだわらない様子のこと。 すっきりは、「すっきりと飲めるお酒」のように、口当たりがよい様子や口の中にしつこさが残らないことをいう。
